Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team for a Temporary Position. This role is specifically for the duration of a project.
- Create and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Plan and conduct safety training sessions for employees on various safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Perform regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine their causes and develop preventive measures.
- Keep detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for potential crises such as fires, natural disasters, or medical emergencies.
- Foster a culture of safety within the organization by promoting awareness and adherence to safety protocols.

Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role overseeing hydroblasting and vacuum truck operations.
- Relevant certifications in hydroblasting, vacuum truck operations, and safety (e.g., OSHA) are highly desirable.
Work Environment
- Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, and Tank cleaning equipment.
- Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customers and other Miller sites as needed.
- Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
