As a Maintenance Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling maintenance services to existing and potential clients by analyzing their property, providing them with a quote, and finalizing sales. Your focus will be on growing sales, achieving targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate with product sales counterparts to plan and coordinate the selling approach to target accounts. The Maintenance Sales Representative may also be responsible for the estimation and sale of enhancement projects. 

 

Specific Responsibilities

The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all duties listed and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

•              Promote and sell a complete range of service products, including weekly maintenance contracts, tree & shrub care, lawn care, and enhancement projects.

•              Visit current and potential clients to evaluate their needs and promote maintenance services.

•              Inspect property, review customer ideas, discuss budget considerations, and define project objectives.

•              Be able to explain the benefits of different service offerings to clients.

•              Accurately design and quote maintenance solutions for residential and commercial customers.

•              Make recommendations to customers regarding different options to resolve their maintenance needs.

•              Prepare and present sales proposals to potential customers in a timely manner.

•              Clearly communicate the value of maintenance services and address customer needs effectively.

•              Create estimates in QuickBooks and Real Green SA5 to send to potential customers promptly.

•              Consistently follow up with clients on pending estimates.

•              Send DocuSign agreements for sold jobs and follow up until the agreement is complete.

•              Knowledge of CRM system to maintain an accurate record of job status.

•              Identify new business opportunities by performing direct sales activities such as door-to-door sales and distribution of marketing materials.

•              Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and leveraging existing relationships.

•              Establish and maintain positive business relationships with clients.

•              Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the specified schedule.

•              Work cooperatively with product sales counterparts to plan and coordinate the selling approach for target accounts.

•              Maintain client records, including communication history and service agreements.

•              Communicate with office staff when a job is ready to be scheduled.

•              Be educated on the services that the Maintenance department handles.

•              Coordinate with the Marketing Manager as well as Maintenance Administrative Manager to regularly send enhancement marketing emails to current maintenance customers.

•              Coordinate with Enhancement Project Managers to follow up with customers at job completion to sell maintenance service.

•              Assist Maintenance Administrative Manager, Maintenance Division Manager, and CEO as requested.               

•              Stay informed about maintenance services, contracts, and industry trends.

•              Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

•              Be aware of the safety of the public and fellow employees

•              Report all unsafe practices or conditions

•              Take proper care of tools and supplies to avoid loss or misuse

•              Wear appropriate uniform clothing as ascribed by company standards

•              Have reliable transportation to and from office or assigned job site

•              Report to work on time

•              Provide outstanding customer service

•              Manage time appropriately for all tasks

•              Respect fellow employees and management and assist as needed

•              Fill out and submit any paperwork in a timely manner

•              Report all accidents and personal injuries

•              Maintain a good attitude during work

•              Only speak positively about Miller Landscape, its employees, customers, and competitors
