Job Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, with a strong track record of managing operations. The COO will ensure operational efficiency, drive process improvements, and support the company's strategic objectives to enhance overall performance and competitiveness. The COO will also serve as a significant participant in the local community.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic objectives and drive business growth.

2. Process Improvement and Innovation:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing processes and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across all operations.
  • Oversee quality assurance programs to maintain high product standards.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Promote collaboration and communication across departments to achieve operational goals.

5. Financial Management:

  • Manage operational budgets and resources effectively to maximize profitability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to align financial and operational strategies.

6. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plan.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of leadership experience in the manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a COO or senior operational management role.


Skills:

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in operational management software and ERP systems.
  • Ability to drive change and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledgeable with ASME code and ISO certification.
