Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bender/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various fabrication processes and knowledge of a pines horizontal bender. As a fabricator, you will be responsible for set-up and being able to run square and round tube. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain fabrication equipment including Pines Bender, band saws, drill presses and cold saws.
- Utilize micrometers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Work with round and square tubing to fabricate parts and assemblies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication or related fields is preferred.
- Able to check and verify blue prints and hold tolerances to print.
- Proficiency in using micrometers and other measurement tools.
- Able to drive a fork lift.
- Experience with tube benders.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
