Overview:
We’re hiring a Service Sales Engineer to support and grow aftermarket sales across the Southeast for highly engineered equipment used in food and healthcare manufacturing. This isn’t cold calling — it’s value-driven relationship management with an existing customer base that relies on centrifuge systems (separators and decanters) to keep production running. You’ll own a large territory and travel heavily. You need to be accountable, technical, and trusted on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a defined Southeast territory with a focus on growing parts and service revenue
- Travel 50–70% across the region (car and fuel card provided)
- Deliver technical consults on centrifuge systems used in food/healthcare applications
- Partner with internal teams to execute site visits and customer follow-up
- Identify service opportunities and present solutions that improve uptime and lifecycle
- Build a territory growth plan and drive it — not just maintain
- Keep tight, clear communication between customers and the team
Qualifications:
- Based in Southeast U.S. (strong preference for Atlanta or Charlotte)
- 5 years technical B2B sales — service/parts/capital equipment ideal
- Proven self-starter with high travel experience
- Skilled in consultative selling and long-cycle relationship building
- Experienced selling into food/healthcare manufacturing or related industrial settings
- Able to work fast, independently, and with minimal handholding
