The Service Advisor is responsible for customer-facing functions of the Service Department including customer service, including scheduling, follow-up, and customer relations, repair order management, and warranty administration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Customer Service

  • Provide professional, friendly and efficient service to all service customers, including internal departments.
  • Answer incoming service telephone calls.
  • Schedule future service appointments.
  • Greet incoming service customers.
  • Create repair orders in the Lightspeed EVO computer system to outline the scope of work requested by customer.
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding the completion of requested work and additional information needed.
  • Address customer concerns and provide satisfactory solutions.

Repair Order Management

  • Maintain service scheduling to meet customer demand and achieve volume goals.
  • Delegate repair orders to available technicians.
  • Document diagnostics and work performed.
  • Assist technicians in vehicle diagnostics as needed.
  • Ensure the correct parts are ordered and received for each repair order.

Warranty Administration

  • Submit for authorization on warranty-covered repairs.
  • Submit warranty claims for payment.
  • Audit warranty payments and coverage.

Maintain Industry Knowledge

  • Understand the terminology of the motorsports industry and keep abreast of technological changes in the products.
  • Stay well-informed of new models, variants, accessories, options and products.
  • Continue dealership and OEM-provided education through on-site demonstrations and online classes.

Our dealership provides maintenance, repair and accessory installation services to most major powersports brands with a focus on Can-Am, Kawasaki, Kayo, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha motorcycles, ATVs and SXSs. We strive to maintain the most trained, skilled and knowledgeable service department in the region by providing on-the-job training as well as OEM-provided schooling.

Compensation will include base hourly salary PLUS commission. Paid time off includes holidays, vacation and personal days. Starting salary will be based on experience level.

Miller's Motorsports has been serving powersports enthusiasts for 25 years. Our location in Lemont Furnace, PA, offers new products from Can-Am, Kawasaki, Kayo, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha, and our location in Beaver Falls, PA, offers new products from Kawasaki, Kayo, Suzuki and Yamaha.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Associates will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, sales floor, service department, parts department, offices, and warehouse) for the majority of the day. You will spend time outdoors delivering PGA items curbside as well as being exposed to noise, exhaust fumes, dust, hazardous, and non-hazardous materials.

Business Hours: Tuesday – Thursday, 10AM-7PM, Friday – Saturday, 10AM-5PM. Associates are expected to report and leave 15-minutes before opening and after closing, respectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
