OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic business development representative to assist the growth in Wyoming and Colorado. The candidate will travel to mine sites each week to meet with potential and existing customers. This candidate should have a “road warrior” mentality who does their best work in front of the customer. Most travel will be completed within the same day with the occasional overnight trip. Candidates will need to be able to gather information regarding customer’s challenges and then use sizing software to select the correct pump for the application. Excellent listening and information gathering is extremely helpful in this role. Customer service, with excellent communication skills is also extremely important in this role so same day quoting when possible is critical to its success.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work independently with support from engineering team and sales manager.
· Make weekly sales visits to mines.
· Gather information regarding customer problems.
· Stay abreast of competitors and their offerings.
· Maintain MSHA certification.
· Size pumps to fit customer applications (training will be provided).
· Occasionally deliver pumps in conjunction with sales visits.
· Training for mine safety will be provided.
EXPERIENCE
· Business to business sales experience preferred.
· Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
· Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
· Mining experience is a plus.
· Pump experience is a plus.
· Candidate must be able to work independently and with others on projects.
COMPENSATION
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay based on experience, plus quarterly commission. Must pass background check and drug screen. The benefit package includes the following:
