We are seeking a dedicated and professional Legal Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer support while managing various clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to operate computerized phone systems effectively.
Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the firm.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining professionalism.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for attorneys and staff.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist with office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle client inquiries with courtesy and efficiency, providing necessary information or directing them to the right department.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.
Experience
- Previous experience as a legal receptionist in a similar role is preferred but not required. Experience in Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice is preferred.
- Proficiency in office management practices and familiarity with clerical tasks is essential.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with various software applications for office management.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are necessary for effective customer support.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
