Miller Truck Leasing is hiring an experienced diesel trailer technician to work out of our customer location in Amsterdam, NY shop. Ideal applicants will have experience supporting a diesel fleet and an interest in advancing their career and technical knowledge.
Diesel Trailer Mechanic Technician Duties:

Diesel Trailer Mechanic Technician Duties:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of trailers on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
- Repair / Replace brakes, wheel seals, S-cams, slack adjusters, lights, suspension, tires, and perform alignments
- Replace doors and seals and perform welding
- 3 years working as a diesel mechanic, trailer mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
- Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractor trailers
- A valid NYSI license OR the ability to acquire one with the assistance of our trainer
- Valid CDL or the ability to acquire one with the assistance of our trainer
- Hand tools
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
