Job Summary/Basic Function
Student Worker will monitor those who use the fitness room and watch for safe use of equipment. If an emergency should arise, student worker would make emergency contact to get help.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Must be an undergraduate student registered part-time or full-time
- Must be in good standing with the University
- Must be PUNCTUAL & DEPENDABLE – One student worker per shift
- Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Preferred Qualifications
Job Duties
- Open fitness room before members arrive
- Turn on lights/music/tv & prepare sign-in sheet
- Be available to members & prepared for potential emergency
- Check supplies & email housekeeping when low
- Lock both fitness room doors at end of each shift
