Job Summary/Basic Function
Millersville University is currently seeking dedicated and responsible students to serve as Talent Search Mentors for an upcoming overnight summer camp designed for high schoolers. This temporary position requires individuals who are enthusiastic, organized, and capable of providing mentorship to young participants.

Required Qualifications
- Must be a Millersville University student at time of employment.
- Must be available to work with High school students.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must attend all scheduled trainings and meetings.
- Must complete the PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearance or provide the clearance results from a previous employer or educational purpose. Must be completed BEFORE starting in position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multilingual proficiency in Creole or Spanish.
- Must attend all scheduled trainings and meetings.
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred, but not required.
Job Duties
- Guiding students to their designated classrooms/workshops
- Running evening activities
- Supervising high school students in the dorms
- Addressing inquiries or concerns from participants
- Presenting yourself as a mentor and offering guidance as needed
- Complete delegated tasks for the summer camps
- Building relationships with high school students
- Provide Talent Search supplies and resources to high school students
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Be able to walk across campus for workshops
- Able to work outside in different weather conditions
