Job Summary / Basic Function
MU CAMP Peer Mentors provide supportive services to incoming MU CAMP freshmen throughout their first year at the university. Peer Mentors are a support system, a friend, an advocate, and a caring role model Required Qualifications
- Completed freshmen year as an MU CAMP participant
- Completed at least 24 credits
- Available to work during the Fall and Spring semesters including evening and weekends when necessary
- Good communication skills
- Works well with others
- Have good judgment
- Responsible, dependable, and organized
- Enjoys working with diverse peers
- Sensitive to cultural differences
- Currently enrolled Millersville University student
- Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).
