Job Summary / Basic Function
The department of Accounting & Finance is accepting applications for a Temporary Part-Time Faculty Member to teach in-person undergraduate accounting courses, encompassing delivering lectures, creating assessments, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Requirements : MBA , MS in Accounting, or J.D., a relevant professional certification ( CPA , CMA , CFE , etc.), and business experience. Prior teaching experience is preferred, and a strong knowledge of accounting principles and communication skills are essential. In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to academic and professional student development. Duties and Responsibilities
TEACHING AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Teaching responsibilities in at least one of the following areas, depending on program need : Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Tax, and Information Systems, and Business Law.
Part-time faculty members shall maintain a prorated number of office hours each week, at a minimum of twenty-five (25) minutes for each workload hour taught, at such days, times and locations as will accommodate the needs of the students.
This position requires in-person instruction on Millersville University's campus. This position is contingent upon sufficient enrollments in assigned classes.

The Department of Accounting and Finance in the Lombardo College of Business is comprised of five full-time faculty members. The college has approximately 770 undergraduate students and offers BS degrees in accounting, finance, information technology, marketing, management, and business administration. The Lombardo College of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs ( ACBSP ).
