Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a part-time Clinical Scheduling Assistant in the Oncology and Infusion clinic.
Will have responsibility for supporting efficient workflow and communications for the clinic. Checking in in patients, obtaining vital signs and patient histories, obtain prior authorization for procedures/medications, process patient charges, place follow-up calls, maintain office/clinic supplies and any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications: High School graduate. Secretarial experience, experience working with insurance providers and medical terminology course preferred.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Part time, hourly position. 24 hours per week. Varied days and hours.
