What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Counsel position at MilliporeSigma?
As Corporate Counsel in the Life Science legal department, you will serve as a valued business partner to groups within the Science and Lab Solutions business of MilliporeSigma, which offers a broad portfolio of scientific products and tools for customers across academia, pharma, industrial, testing, and diagnostics. Specifically, you will provide a full range of legal support for the SLS Commercial Americas organization, including drafting and negotiating various agreements, providing guidance to business leaders on relevant legal and business matters, reviewing, evaluating, and advising internal clients on business opportunities and process improvements, identifying and mitigating risk, coordinating and leading outside counsel for vital topics, and training colleagues and internal clients on related legal issues and standards. You will also provide support for corporate governance matters, business development opportunities and other company/department priorities. The position will be based in Burlington, MA.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a US qualified lawyer working at large law firm or multinational corporate legal department, minimum three (3) years preferred.
