Your Role
The HR Business Partner - California role supports four California locations: Carlsbad, Temecula, Rocklin and Visalia locations. You are part of the Life Science HRBP team and report directly to the Regional HRBP - US West and Midwest Lead. You support business leaders on key employee lifecycle topics and deploy, implement, and communicate on HR Solutions. The role can be based in either the Carlsbad or Temecula, CA locations.

The HR Business Partner
- Delivers operational people solutions and support for all employee lifecycle topics; deploys & implements HR solutions including people development, compensation & benefits, and employee relations in alignment with partner HR groups
- Delivers HR support on organizational strategies such as people analytics, organizational transformations & change, and M&A
- Interprets local market requirements by partnering with Global HR Business Partners & HR leadership to translate business requirements into operational plans reflecting local labor regulations and implementing the strategies locally
- Consults with line managers and provides enablement to help shape the desired talent, performance culture, retention strategies, and drive necessary change
- Ensures legal compliance on people and HR matters

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or other similar discipline
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources working as HR Business or Solutions Partner and partnering with various levels of leadership
- Advanced experience in employee relations
- Strong working knowledge and practice of California Law
