THIS IS A 12-MONTH CONTRACT WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION!
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Coordinator to amplify
our brand voice across all digital channels. In this role, you will drive our
social media campaigns from ideation through execution and analysis. You
will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—from marketing and
communications to digital and creative teams—to craft engaging content
that resonates with our audiences. While a background in science isn’t
required, a genuine passion for science and an appreciation for our bold,
vibrant brand are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Campaign Management:
o Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute
engaging content aligned with our business strategy.
o Manage end-to-end social media campaigns focused on brand
building, engagement, and awareness.
- Collaborative Ideation:
o Identify emerging content styles and formats, offering
recommendations on how to adapt them for our audience.
o Serve as the go-to resource for social media best practices,
offering strategic advice to stakeholders.
- Editorial & Brand Oversight:
o Collaborate across the social media team to identify content gaps
and opportunities, ensuring a cohesive and well-rounded
editorial calendar
o Ensure all content is legally compliant, on-brand, and relevant to
our online communities.
- Analytics & Optimization:
o Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools, providing
actionable insights and recommendations.
o Continuously test and optimize campaigns to exceed KPIs and
benchmarks.
- Visual Collaboration:
o Partner with our creative team to produce high-quality visual
content tailored for various social platforms.
- Other Responsibilities as Needed
o Internal Communications: Write and publish rich content for
internal channels, collaborating with teams across the
organization that educates and engages our global employee
base.
o Corporate Events & Content Strategy: Collaborate on planning
and executing corporate events that drive content creation
aimed at accelerating knowledge sharing, promoting innovative
solutions, and empowering our teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital content creation and social media
management.
- Strong grasp of social and digital analytics with the ability to translate
data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of guiding
diverse teams through campaign planning, execution, and review.
- A keen interest in science and the ability to translate complex scientific
ideas into engaging content is highly valued.
Education & Experience
- A degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Corporate Communications,
Science Communications, or a related field is preferred, though
extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
