Duties
- Lead weekend baker responsible for dough, dessert and bread.
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and knives safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in menu planning and development of new pizza recipes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing your culinary skills beyond the pizza menu.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with baking techniques and pizza preparation methods is a plus.
- Experience in customer service roles will enhance your ability to interact positively with guests.
- Skills baking high level cookies, cakes and other types of desserts or other culinary specialties can be beneficial but are not required.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in the kitchen is highly valued.
