What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwork CNC Machine Operator position at Millwork Company?
Here at Master Millwork, we specialize in high-end custom millwork projects for corporate interiors, museums, performing arts, senior living, multi-family apartments & hotels nationwide.
This position is a full-time operation of various CNC machines cutting cabinet components, custom millwork parts, blueprint matched wood veneer wall and ceiling panels, etc. We are looking for someone that has at least 3-5 years’ experience working with woodworking CNC machines. Preferably with 5-axis machine understanding and capabilities.
- Must work well with others.
- Able to learn and follow clear instructions.
- Able to work safely and comply with safety regulations.
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs.
- Excellent attendance and prior work history
Duties include:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Be able to fully read and understand architectural millwork shop drawings
- Have an eye for and attention to detail with regard to color and grain matching of blueprint matched panels
- Experience with millwork products/materials
- Set up and operate CNC machines including calibration, preventative maintenance, basic programming, and error code troubleshooting
- Perform quality control checks on incoming materials and finished components produced on the CNC
- Maintain records of work completed on projects
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
