Our school was founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, ensuring that both students and staff have access to everything they need to thrive.
As Houseparents, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students, providing a consistent family-like structure. You will handle various daily responsibilities, such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
We offer a competitive total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a flexible schedule.
To be eligible for this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Please note that only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted, and you must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
