Role Overview
Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to serve as House Parents, providing a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The successful candidates will guide and support students through daily life, education, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Reside on campus with students and provide a stable family environment.
- Guide and mentor students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Manage student homes, including daily routines, meals, and activities.
- Transport students to and from school, extracurricular activities, and other events.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
- A married couple with at least two years of marriage.
- Both spouses must be 27 years old or older.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
