Milton Hershey School is committed to providing a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a House Parent, you and your spouse will reside in on-campus student homes, offering guidance and support to our students.
Our ideal candidates are experienced in working with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple) including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. As a House Parent, you will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, couples cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
