Job Overview
Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to become part of our team as House Parents. As a House Parent, you will provide a nurturing family-style environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, guiding their development and well-being.
Responsibilities
You and your spouse will work together to support approximately 8-12 students, handling various responsibilities and ensuring a stable, caring atmosphere. This includes driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more. You will also lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Requirements
We are looking for couples who have been legally married for at least two years, with both spouses being age 27 or older. Experience working or volunteering with youth is preferred, particularly from under-served settings. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid driver's license. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
