Providing a Nurturing Environment for Students at Milton Hershey School
At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents. This unique role requires providing a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds by residing in on-campus homes and guiding a group of students. As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for managing various responsibilities, including budgeting, administering medication, and ensuring a family-like structure for the students. You will also have the opportunity to work with your spouse as co-leaders, creating a collaborative and supportive team dynamic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reside in on-campus homes and provide a stable living environment for students
- Guide a group of approximately 8-12 students
- Manage responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
