We offer a unique career path for married couples to become houseparents, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students in a family-like environment. As a houseparent, you will be responsible for managing daily activities, driving, and overseeing student care. You will also lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Benefits and Work-Life Balance
We offer a structured schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. Workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also enjoy three-week paid summer vacation and relocation assistance. Please note that we have limitations on pets and smoking on campus.
Requirements and Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must be legally married for at least two years, with both spouses being age 27 or older. Additionally, you should have valid driver's licenses and be able to become certified to drive student home vans. We welcome applications from couples who are comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to chapel services. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
