Job Description
The Residential Youth Caregiver position involves married couples living on-campus to provide guidance and support to a group of students. Responsibilities include administering medication, driving, and creating a family-like environment for 8-12 students. Couples are expected to be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, is highly desirable. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and couples must have been legally married for at least two years. A high school diploma or GED is required, and both spouses must complete an individual employment application. Additionally, valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are necessary.
