What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples' Caregivers position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples who can provide a family-like structure and care for students in our on-campus student homes.
About the Role
We are looking for couples who can manage a group of approximately 8-12 students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and leading daily devotions. Couples must be comfortable with Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services and have a high degree of integrity as role models for students.
Responsibilities
Couples will reside in on-campus student homes and guide and nurture students in their care. They will handle daily tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry. They will also transport students to school and extracurricular activities.
Couples will work together to create a safe and supportive environment for students, promoting academic success and personal growth. They will also participate in training and development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate couple will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
