Supporting Disadvantaged Youth:
Milton Hershey School is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will work alongside your spouse as a flex houseparent in an on-campus home for students, providing guidance, support, and a family-like structure to groups of 8-12 students.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited). A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Summer Vacation:
You will receive three-week paid summer vacation, allowing you to recharge and spend quality time with your loved ones.
