Job Description
We are seeking two-person teams to serve as Houseparents, Full-Time at Milton Hershey School. As a Houseparent, you will provide a nurturing environment for students in a family-like setting, guiding them in their personal growth and development. Responsibilities include administering medications, budgeting, and maintaining a supportive atmosphere while living on campus.
Salary and Benefits

The total compensation package includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more, with a salary of $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 per couple.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must also abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with limitations on pets.
Work Schedule and Time Off
The schedule consists of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. Additionally, you will receive a three-week paid summer vacation.
Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application, and a valid driver's license is required. Ability to become certified to drive student home vans is also necessary.
