Job Overview
As a houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students, managing household responsibilities, and serving as role models. This is a unique career path that requires consideration and commitment from both spouses.
Responsibilities
- Provide a consistent family-like structure for students
- Manage household responsibilities, including budgeting, reporting, and driving
- Administer medication and handle other student care tasks
- Lead daily devotions and take students to Sunday chapel services
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Be a legally married couple with at least two years of marriage
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading by example
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, along with comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, and we provide a three-week paid summer vacation.
