Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become houseparents. As a houseparent, you will reside on-campus and provide a family-like environment for 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Responsibilities
The role involves providing daily care, driving, administering medication, and budgeting. You will also be responsible for leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
