As a Youth Development Specialist, you will be part of a team that creates a supportive and inclusive environment for students to grow and develop. Your role will involve:
- Guiding and mentoring students in their personal and academic growth
- Working collaboratively with other houseparents to maintain a cohesive family environment
- Providing support and resources to students in need
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a safe and welcoming environment for students
- Developing and implementing strategies to promote student success
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to support student learning
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
