What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Houseparents Opportunity position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our students. As a houseparent, you will play a vital role in guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.
As a married couple, you will reside in one of our student homes, working together to provide a consistent family-like structure for the students. This will involve managing household tasks, participating in educational and social activities, and being available to support the students at all times.
We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. If you are passionate about supporting disadvantaged youth and have what it takes to be an effective houseparent, we would love to hear from you.
