You and your spouse will receive a salary of $43,825 per person, resulting in a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Job Description
As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will be responsible for providing a supportive environment for your assigned students. This includes driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and other essential tasks. You'll work closely with your colleagues to ensure the well-being and success of your students. A schedule of nine days on followed by three days off allows for personal time while students are at school, and a three-week paid summer vacation provides a much-needed break.
Qualifications
To be successful as a flex houseparent, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You'll need a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans. High school diplomas or GEDs are required, and both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
