We are seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents, residing on-campus student homes and guiding a group of approximately 8-12 students. This unique role provides a consistent family-like structure for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, Flex Houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
As a Flex Houseparent, you will be part of a team that emphasizes the importance of integrity and commitment in shaping young lives. You will work closely with your spouse to provide a nurturing environment for students, engaging in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
The position offers a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, totaling around $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Additional benefits include comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, and three-week summer vacation.
To qualify for this role, both spouses must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should have been legally married for at least two years and be aged 27 or older. Both spouses should hold a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver's license, enabling them to drive student home vans.
