This is an exciting opportunity for a married couple to become part of our team as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a key member of our household management team, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and structured living environment for 8-12 students.
Responsibilities:
- Reside on-campus and manage daily responsibilities, including transportation, budgeting, and medication administration.
- Act as a positive role model and support students' emotional and educational development.
- Work closely with other household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy.
- Limits apply to pets; only fish and approved breeds of dogs are permitted.
- Valid driver's license required, with certification to drive student home vans.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all staff are role models for students.
