Guiding the Next Generation
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents, providing a family-like environment for our students. As a Flex Houseparent, you will reside in on-campus student homes with your spouse and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include transportation, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with your students and support their academic and personal growth.
The position offers a comprehensive salary package, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. You will also receive relocation assistance and paid training. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings.
We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
