What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Residence Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School seeks dedicated couples to join our team as House Parents. As a House Parent, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You and your spouse will live on-campus, guiding students through their daily activities and responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple) which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Additionally, we provide relocation assistance and paid training.
You will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. We also offer a three-week paid summer vacation. As a House Parent, you will be expected to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
