We are seeking experienced couples to become flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School.
About the Role
As a flex houseparent, you will provide a family-like environment for students, guiding them through daily life and helping them develop important life skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Live on-campus with your spouse and manage daily responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to nurture students' emotional, social, and academic growth
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure students receive comprehensive support
- Participate in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services and lead daily devotions
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and serve as a role model for students
