What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Residential Care Providers position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to join our team as residential care providers, residing in student homes to offer guidance and nurturing for disadvantaged students. As a key member of our staff, you will maintain a family-like environment, provide necessary care, and engage in daily activities with students.
Our residential care providers play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal growth of our students. They must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a safe and healthy living environment
- Providing emotional support and guidance to students
- Engaging in daily activities with students, such as homework help and recreational activities
- Reporting any issues or concerns to school administrators
As a residential care provider, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and be part of a supportive educational community.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including salary, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. Our flexible schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school.
Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
