What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Residential Youth Care Specialists position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School seeks experienced married couples to fill the role of Houseparents, Full-Time. As part of our residential youth care team, you will provide a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, guiding them through daily activities and administering care.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing student homes, driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and leading daily devotions. We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
As Houseparents, you will be expected to maintain a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, abide by pet restrictions, and have a valid driver's license. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students.
We offer a flexible schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, allowing for personal time while students are at school. You will also receive three-week paid summer vacation and access to comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
