Nurturing Students Together
Milton Hershey School is seeking a couple to join our team as Houseparents. In this role, you will reside in one of our on-campus student homes and provide guidance, support, and a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As a Houseparent, you will work closely with your spouse to create a family-like structure for students, including daily devotions, meals, and activities. You will also be responsible for various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting.

Key Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Limitations on pets
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
