About the Position
As a residential youth caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a family-like environment for students, providing care and guidance, and supporting their development through daily activities and interactions. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure that students receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
As a residential youth caregiver, your key responsibilities will include:
* Creating a safe and nurturing environment for students
* Developing and implementing programs to promote student development
* Working collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment
* Maintaining accurate records and reports related to student progress and behavior
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
* Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
* A high school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and participate in physical activities with students
* Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
