What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Youth Care Specialists position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School, a world-renowned private school, is seeking married couples to become part of its unique family-like environment. As Flex Houseparents, they will guide and nurture students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The successful couple will reside on-campus in student homes, providing a consistent structure for approximately 8-12 students. They will be responsible for daily activities, academic and emotional growth, and maintaining a structured living space.
This role offers a competitive compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidates will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
