About the Role
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as Flex Houseparents. As a Flex Houseparent, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reside on campus with your spouse and provide a family-like structure for 8-12 students
- Manage daily activities, including driving, administering medication, and budgeting
- Lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and possess a valid driver's license
