Milton Hershey School is a private school that provides an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, residing on-campus in student homes and guiding a group of approximately 8-12 students. As flex houseparents, you will provide a consistent family-like structure, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
The salary for this position is $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; life insurance; disability options; and retirement savings. Additionally, relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Qualifications for this role include experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years, with both spouses being age 27 or older. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
