What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education and Support for Disadvantaged Youth position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to become part of our team as flex houseparents. In this role, you will provide a supportive and caring environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, guiding them in their daily lives and helping them develop academically and emotionally.
You will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
