Milton Hershey School provides a unique opportunity for couples to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As Houseparents, you will play a vital role in guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students in a family-style living environment.
The position requires experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Couples should be married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home.
As a Houseparent, your responsibilities will include managing daily routines, ensuring a stable foundation for educational growth, and providing a consistent family-like structure for students. You will also handle tasks such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
In return, you will receive a competitive compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.
