The compensation package for Flex Houseparents includes a salary of $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 per couple. This package also includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits, ensuring that couples are well-equipped to succeed in their new roles.
Responsibilities
As Flex Houseparents, couples will provide a family-like environment for students, manage household responsibilities, and guide them in a structured setting. This requires a high degree of integrity, as all staff members serve as role models for students.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. High school diploma or GED is required, along with valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
Flexibility and Perks
Couples can expect a flexible schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time included during school hours.
