As a House Parent, you and your spouse will play a critical role in achieving this goal. Your responsibility will include providing a safe, stable, and loving environment for our students, which includes managing household responsibilities, such as budgeting, meal planning, and maintaining a clean and organized living space. You will also be responsible for transporting students to and from activities, appointments, and other events.
Qualifications:
• A strong commitment to the values of Milton Hershey School, including a focus on academic excellence, character development, and servant leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• High school diploma or equivalent required
Working Conditions:
• Work schedule: Nine days on, three days off
• Work environment: On-campus student homes and surrounding areas
• Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, sit, and move freely around campus
